Who is Marpleberry_?

From South Africa to Australia I am a wandering soul with deep roots in traditions, cultures, and nostalgic memories.

Hi! I am Sohini - I am originally from Durban, South Africa but I now live in Geelong, Australia. Some of my first memories are of orange sunsets in our beautiful African sky and warm humid evenings spent with family. Whenever, I think back to those days I can only remember one thing - the afternoons. Back then the 5p.m. T.V. time slot was reserved for anime, and this spawned my interest and love for this style of art.

I am currently working as a Chartered Accountant in Australia. My work keeps me very busy - being an office person can be rough sometimes! Life is always busy though no matter what we do, don't you think?

For some reason I can never get anywhere on time (so if you invite me somewhere know I'll be running a little late). The train loves to let me down, but I think of it as my second home now!

Being late also means that my life is filled with a lot of random stories. I seem to have a habit of running into little adventures wherever I go - but I try to find a way to have fun and enjoy them. I find myself saying: "If Life has given me this opportunity to experience something random, then I'll make the most of it the best I can!"

I am trying my best to live life slowly, but the world is fast and everyone is moving ahead of me. Still, I want to remind people that it's okay in this life to live. No matter what, I would like to know that I lived and laughed as much as I could with everyone.
